Warehouse Striping

Floor striping a warehouse requires a professional that understands what is needed. It's not just about painting lines inside a building and if your striper don't know the difference, you could be wasting both time and thousands of dollars. Pavement Paintlines makes the effort to understand what the striping needs to accomplish and for how long, the proper materials to use and avoiding future problems.

OSHA floor markings are meant to ensure worker and pedestrian safety where theses areas meet or dangerous equipment is located or maintained. Warehouse striping is something that we take very seriously.

OSHA Compliant
Markings

The right striping paints and layout will serve your basic staging and marking purposes, so we will have many questions for you. Will some part of your loading dock be exposed to the elements? How much equipment and forklift traffic does this area need to be able to withstand? We will have other questions for you based on your project's circumstance.

Aside from OSHA regulations that determine what marking need to be made for safety reasons, there are other factors to consider, as well. We can help you improve your workflow and efficiency with optimized and clean warehouse striping.

Sometimes, warehouses have been sitting empty and the coating has degraded or the concrete is too stained and dirty to be worked on immediately. Other times, the cement is slick or saturated with curing compounds, grease and dirt. These situations can add to the time needed to finish the project but this is necessary to make sure the work is done right.

Sometimes this means we move to alternate striping materials to save time and expense and other times we will recommend cleaning the cement surface to allow for the new paintlines to soak into the pores and prevent flaking and chipping. This might only require a degreasing compound, scrubber and water hose but more extreme solutions include a concrete grinder taking off the top layer.

Once we establish the needed layout and the marking will be OSHA compliant, and we work with you to minimize downtime and any unforeseen problems.
